CompTIA ANZ recently held their 5th Channel Community Meeting in Sydney with enormous success.
The theme of the meeting was Sales and Marketing in The Channel and the line-up of key note speakers was second to none. They included the best-selling author and key note speaker Tony Hughes, B2B IT Marketing Specialist Melanie Unwin and the LinkedIn #1 Social Seller Mark McInnes.
Tony’s session was centred on changing the customer conversation to accelerate profitable revenue growth while Melanie focused on how to successfully market your business with quality marketing content. Mark rounded out these sessions by discussing his seven secrets of successful social selling. The meeting also included an update on the CompTIA initiatives that the Executive Council have been working on throughout the course of the year. This included the progress made with the Dream IT Initiative and the new awareness program with Rosie The Riveter. Attendees got very involved in this session, donning their bandannas to take a photo for social media and using the hash tag #maketechherstory.
It is safe say that all of the sessions were highly informative, practical and extremely well received by the meeting attendees, all who left looking forward to attending the next meeting in March 2017.
